Awesome pictures!
I think that poll is rather out of place...we can't judge full detail until we can actually ride the attraction. Remember, half of the show scenes are inside that building, and there will be high-tech projections used. It's not fair to judge something that's not even ready to open yet...there's no real basis for opinion, IMO.

Well lets base the poll off just what we see outside then. Actually I think it's fair to do that since they are totally done with the lagoon floor and we have seen many pictures of it. The poll is not based on which attraction is a better ride but which you think is more detailed.

I think, by these pics that the original had more stuff. But I think Nemo has true details. These pics look like the stuff has just been put there and a lot of it. Nemo looks like everything has been placed for a reason and fits well. These pics just have too much stuff for great detail. real coral reefs don't all look like that, they look more like the Nemo version.
Re: Vintage Submarine Voyage Pictures!
I don't think they're totally done with the lagoon, or at least I hope they arn't. There are a couple of bass, two crabs, and some clams.
Re: Vintage Submarine Voyage Pictures!
They have already installed those AA props.
Re: Vintage Submarine Voyage Pictures!
I know, but from what we've seen thats all there is. I saw a picture of some pink thing and nemo in a tiki's mouth, but there better be more.

I'm sorry to say though C-HOX, what you are looking at is the final product. Really what I think is lacking in the new one is textured flooring which gives people the illusion that sand is on the bottom. Every inch of space in the old one was filled regardless if it was viewable by the sub or not, that is what I like about the original Submarine Voyage.

Re: Vintage Submarine Voyage Pictures!
I agree that Nemo has more details. The reef of Sub Voyage was basically that old trick of spraying concrete onto a bent-up grid of wires, and while Nemo has some of that, it has so many more colors and those ruined temple sets which required careful design.
This is like pitting Old Matterhorn VS New Matterhorn. They both had their charming elements, but Harold/Ice Cave Matterhorn has much more drama and theatrical magic than the roller coaster of old. The same will happen here, I virtually guarantee it.

Aren't you supposed to have several of the Animatronic angler fish in yours as well?
