Re: What are your Disneyland fears?

    Im basically scared of BTMRR...
I remember the first time I went on it as a kid I felt like I was going to fly out the entire time, and I also smacked my head... which may have something to do with my fear...
I'll still go on it about once a year, but I nearly have a panic attack every time I do.... It's def. not a roller-coaster fear thing, because I can do all the MM rides....
Something about it just creeps me out...

    This may sound cheesy:

That it will lose its magic and become just an ordinary park...

I doubt it ever will, but that's my big fear.

I used to always freak out that I was going to get decapitated on Space Mountain. I would always slouch down in the seat because it felt like I was going to smack my head on the track above when you loop around under the other sections of track. Even though I knew there was plenty of room. Ever since I went on Rockin' the fear has completely gone away. I could see exactally how much room there is between things.

Oh and those signs by the parking structure telling you the Disneyland is very busy.

Yeah, I totally have that, even after Rockin'. I doubt I'll get to go on it again while it's that way, I wish I'd gotten a better look. I rarely put my hands up. I don't know why I should worry, I'm short!

I don't do Star Tours anymore due to claustrophobia.

    Agreed I hate that snake.

I'm also afraid of rides getting off track or flipping over.

I know it rarely happens, a few of us brought it up when we went on BTMRR after the incident but we weren't scared.

I can virtually guarantee that won't happen on Heimlich

yeah but I'm too tall for it...

I may be afraid of the tracks and all that but that does not stop me from riding it.

Re: What are your Disneyland fears?

I hate being on the sides exposed to stuff...like on Indy.
I hate being in the back (afraid going to get grabbed up by something and die)...

But on Mansion, I have no choice.
Also, I prefer being on the LEFT side of everything I ride, kind of a superstition I have at DL and WDW.

I actually hate being in the front. That is where that guy who died on BTMRR was riding. If I get the front, I ask to be put somewhere else. In general, I am afraid of being in Disneyland and an earthquake were to hit.

    You too?

I prefer (not just in Disney rides) to be in the middle and the front. I don't want to be in the back unless I am sitting with someone else.

Amen. I would also like to add, as a part of my own fear, that it won't be around for people to enjoy in the future. A little heavy but that really is a fear of mine.

I hate the part of IAJ where the skeleton warrior blow their blow darts. I always wear a sweatshirt with a hood, put the hood on, and duck...lol.
