Sounds like they need to get a butt-load of ducks to patrol Magic Mountain...

    I love ducks.
I'm sure (or at least, I hope!) after they patched him up in first aid he was shown the park's main gate.

Kudos to the CM for trying to stop him though!

be so funny if the security call his mummy and daddy to tell them what he did. I bet he couldn't show his face.

Actually the myth that birds reject their young because of smell is not true, birds have a bad sense of smell so they don't care what the chick smells like even if you touch it. So I don't think mom rejected the chick at all, yay.

As I walked up, there was a teenager trying to lean over and touch the baby ducks. The security guard nearby asked him to please leave the ducks alone, but before he could finish, the brat had grabbed a baby duck.

Mom went BERSERK. She had him on the ground in 5 seconds flat, protecting her young, pecking the bejesus out of his face & making my day. Stupid kid had to have the security CM save him from the duck & then got escorted off to first aid.

The ducks are my new favorite things at DL.
Those audio-animatronic ducks are getting more and more
sophisticated all the time. And everyone though Beaker
and Dr Honeydew were top of the line!

And you just KNOW that wasn't a "security guard"!
That was the person operating the controls of those
audio-animatronics! I'd LOVE to have that job!

"Hey, kid! DON'T bother those Ducks!"

Great, great story. Nothing like rooting for the underdog. Reminds me of the simple joy of seeing a little bird chasing away a crow or the video of the bird divebombing the cat's butt.

    Priceless stuff.
