Re: What restaurant/food service would you like to see at DL?

I'd love to see a Haunted Mansion themed restaurant (maybe in riverbelle's location, and it could just become part of NOS) with some kind of "morphing" effect, such as the one used in the Beast's library at DCA or the restaurant (don't know the name) on the Disney Cruise line. It could turn from a fine-dining "fancy" feel to dead and...well yeah. I've always wanted to see this.

No, No, NONE. No brand name restaurants in the park, NO.
Serve their brand, hang a little sign like they do at a few places already - but don't make it McDonalds and call it Burger Invasion presented by McDonalds or whatever.

I agree w/the character meal in Toontown. And bringing Chinese back to DCA.

I agree. My idea with Pink's is because to my knowledge there's only one of them. It's in Hollywood and is well known and associated with Hollywood, California; thus keeping with California's Adventure but not "chain-ish."

As for a major sponsoring a themed restaurant, I agree it should be distinctive to Disneyland. We don't need Starbuck's, CPK, KFC, etc. But if they want to sponsor a restaurant and get their trademark on the door, that's fine with me.

Re: What restaurant/food service would you like to see at DL?

I would like to see the restaurants at Disneyland go back to their original formats(I.e. different menus for each restaurant in each themed area.

I dont see the logic in getting a food item in more than one area. the whole idea of going to one of the eateries at the park(s) is to have what walt disney provided us: each walk up, or sit down eatery had its own menu, completely different from the other.

also, the mexican restaurant(rancho de zocalo)? go back to the buffet style restaurant it used to be(hosted by laurys)

ALSO lower prices.(especially at blue bayou and (for those who can afford it) club 33.

ALSO, ALSO, make the gumbo and salad(s) at the blue bayou appetizer options again.

Easy! Call it the Cafe 80s!

But there are a number of ways they can make a futuristic restaurant. The first thing is CLASS because that never goes out of style. And I would type more but I'm about to fall asleep on my keyboard.

I don't even like the signs for brand name restaurants that are at Disneyland already. For me the McDonalds logo at Harbor Galley takes away from the feeling in Critter Country.

I agree. While we are in need of new and improved food options, I don't like the idea of bringing brand name restaurants into the park? They belong in Downtown Disney.

If I'm at DLR, I want to enjoy food in a restaurant that I can only visit at DLR. It's part of the whole experience.

I would like to see a Zankou Chicken...

or a middle eastern place serving Shawerma, Falafel, Chicken Tarna, Hamous, Kebab's that would satisfy any craving

yes i'd even throw in the Gyros and Souvlaki!
Three-time MVP Larry Bird, noting that Bryant has been the NBA's premier player for years, told Sports Illustrated's Dan Patrick before this week's announcement, "When someone told me the other day that Kobe hadn't won an MVP trophy, it sort of made me feel like I wanted to throw mine away."

Any coffee other then what they serve, I'd even be ok with Starbucks...just please....please...good coffee type drinks!

Also, a Kaspers in DCA would be awesome.

Aladdin’s Oasis should go back to being a restaurant, and serve exotic dishes....(and the genie lamp desert...yummmm) it is adventure land after all.

The restaurant on top of Innoventions is a great idea. Maybe then it wouldn't seem like so much wasted space.

See that's a really cool idea to me, about Pinks. Because its a little bit more special because there is only one and in hollywood, maybe it could replace award wieners.

sure if it was still award Wieners and the only mention of Pinks was on the menu.

    I agree.
But I can see how it's necessary.
