Re: Here Are Some Tips About What To Wear To A Theme Park Hehe!!

I wear a sundress every once in awhile and it has NEVER flown up,lol.
And I always wear a bit of a heel, flats after a long make my legs hurt.
Personally I wish people who chose to wear sandals male or female should first get a pedicure nothing nastier then jacked up feet.

Re: Here Are Some Tips About What To Wear To A Theme Park Hehe!!

The only time I had a dress problem at Disneyland was at the Pirate's premire, that's because we were trying to leave, before celebs got there, it was tight around the flag pole, and some little kid in a stroller pulled up my dress to reveal everything.I like wearing dresses to the park. My only good advice at the park is not to wear anything that you wouldn't mind getting wrecked. I end up sitting in things.

I have worn dresses, heels, and flip flops to Disneyland and I have never had a problem or hurt anyone in the process. I guess I am a freak of nature!

This part is funny! My high school prom was at the Anaheim Convention Center back in 1985 and we were all so bored so a bunch of us went to Disneyland across the street. It was before AP's and it was still inexpensive enough to where we had the cash to get in (Plus we were all a bunch of spoiled Newport Beach kids).

Anyway it was so fun walking around the park in our tuxes and prom dresses. Sure got some stares from the other park guests!

I always wear Tevas (hiking sandals) I don't like sneakers because if they get wet they are yucky... They are super comfy!

I also always carry a current picture of my kids... just in case!

Usually I am in shorts and a tank top with a light jacket (for the colder rides) and I carry a backpack...

I'm also part of the flip flop club. I wear mine all the time - never had one fly off. It's especially nice during the summer. I hate sweaty, gross feet!

I've also worn a skirt. Heck! You may even see me committing double jeopardy by wearing flip flops and a skirt at the same time!!

And yes....I get a weekly pedicure! I can't stand jacked up feet either!

haha, instead of a suitcase, i'd recommend a backpack at least. Bring extra pairs of socks, because if the ones ur wearing get soaked (ie. splash mtn.), you won't like walking around with a squishy sound everywhere.

I think wearing skirts and sundresses are fine.....as long as you look like you should be wearing it. IMHO, i don't think anyone should be wearing a mini-skirt when your 40 and have 3 kids.

Some of my friends are over 40 and have 5 kids. They are still drop dead gorgeous.

Flip flops are the unofficial footwear of socal, out of 365 days of the year I wear mine about 360 of them. Just make sure to get quality flip flops like Rainbows or Island pros and you'll be fine.

As I sit here surfing MiceChat in my corporate job (barefoot) I might add, I did wear my flipflops to work (again). They are the most comfortable thing to wear!

I don't get ot wear my flip flops to work, but if I'm not in my sneakers, I tend to have my shoes off in my ofifce.

I will be bringing my flip flops in May and I will be sure to apply lots of loiton and make sure my polish is perfect before we get there. lol

Why would I want to turn off my cell phone at the park? The whole point is so people can reach me when I'm not at home/work (and so I can always find my kid...lol). They know better than to call me when I'm at DL unless it is an emergency anyway.

I think they ask you to take them off for Maliboomer - not sure about Soarin'.
