Yes! If you are going to wear flip flops, please make sure that your feet are clean looking and toenails aren't long enough to scratch someones eyes out - and put some lotion on your feet so it doesn't look like you just walked through a vat of flour.

I would not necessarily say to not wear dresses/skirts.

    I would suggest this:
if you should wear dresses/skirts, wear something underneath that if the dress/skirt should fly up/ride up, you wont be embarrassed.
    suggestions:
    1)bikini/one piece swimsuit
    2) body suit/bodystocking
    3) boxers(as corny as it may sound)

Thanks for that. I didn't think that they forced you to. I guess with the popularity of Soarin' at Epcot the CMs just don't want to delay the line any more than they have to they just ask guests to remove their footwear ahead of time instead of accidentally during the attraction. All the same, if you get any "updates" on visits feel free to let me know.

No I think the pictures will be posted on the "Kids are jerks" thread. It was really bad because a parent at my preschool (I teach/direct at a local preschool) was working as one of the pirates and the next Tuesday was like "Miss Kim I saw you at Disneyland, some kid pulled up your skirt." I was mortified.

The girl with the red-ish- pink hair:I've always wanted to do that.

And flip flops: pedicures are good. Pedicures are really good. But don't knock the long toes. Mine are longer than friend's fingers, can't help that, but I either wear polish or make sure their clean.

I have a question about what to bring to Disneyland. Can you bring in food? Or is it just water? I've heard all sorts of people say both answers. I want to bring a backpack filled with snacks this Friday, but don't want to have to throw them away.

    Thanks!

Most of the time they don't seem to care what you bring it but lately I've heard that they have been enforcing the food and drink rules. But don't quote me on that.

Here's also something not to bring to the park. A portable DVD player to watch movies while in line. I've seen this several times.

I also wear flip flops when going to Disneyland or to theme parks in general. They make my life easier when on a water ride and allow my feet to breathe. However, if you get scared that they might fall off on a ride just take them off and slip it in a backpack. OR If you don't have a backpack then slip your flip flop so that its hanging on your wrist and when riding rides, clasp your hands together to insure they don't fall off. Thats what I always do

I was just about to say this! I am definitely pro-skirt at the park, but I wear small shorts underneath, like I did when I was in elementary school. <g> The security of the shorts makes getting in and out of a bobsled much less stressful!

As to cell phones. Some people just can't disconnect or work is that important. I'm a Pastry Chef and there have been times when I was at the park and another chef would need a question answered. Can't be totally disconnected and leave them in the reeds. ^_^

    Pickpockets... wow. Never thought...
