    Show Building Disguising

Does anyone feel that the Indy show building is badly disguised. I feel they could do alot better job hiding it from public view. May be puting vine on the whole backside of the building.
    pshhh i guess

It was hiddend until the new parking structure was created and DTD, etc. and guests go by it... but unless you look for it and think of what it is, many guests probably just pass by it.

It wasn't so bad when it was first disguised (well, I guess it was pretty hideous even then). But the palm trees weren't all faded and peeling...

I could use some new paint.

They could do something better, but what? I don't think planting vines would be good. It will still look like a building. Plus having the building covered with vines could cause problems to the structure itself, inviting I would imagine rot or termites. Also rats and mice love nesting in vines so it would attract those kinds of problems too. But I think more could be done. Just be thankful that it is disguised the way it is. I suppose they really didn't have to do anything with it.

I don't think the majority of visitors even know that building is the Indy show building.

But yes, the camoflauge (sp?) on the Indy building is really faded and peeling in some spots, it could use touching up.

its not the fact of knowing its indy or not. u can be from Timbuktu and just know that, that building is not suppose to be in plain view. Hiding the show building should be in the next Imagination contest HAHA

Hey at least theres Camo on it right? Go look at the back of DCA and just think that the Indy building could be just a big gray colored concrete building with no disguise at all.

Plus I would almost bet that at least 30-40% of Guests don't even recognize the building, much less know what it is.

No, the theming wouldn't be right as most Californians are anti Wal-Mart. I have heard talk of them putting in a Target, though.
