    Walt Disney's passport for sale!

I stumbled across this. Check it out. Too bad I didn't have the cash.

Wow! That is cool! Not only do you get two autographs, but you also KNOW that they are authentic.

I find that the coat that Walt is wearing is funny! I never saw him in anything like that. He almost looks like a member of Disneyland's Barbershop quartet.

That's a really cool item. Publicity must have done his photo! Nice lighting.

Maybe we can all plan a trip to Charlie's (Circarama's) house to see it when he inevitably purchases it!

ok this is sad. it's like auctioning off his personal checks. this is no different than people putting anna nicole smith's diaries up for auction. or some person item from any dead personality. instead of being a gold digger these people in my mind are grave diggers.

Very cool! Thanks for posting that.

I like it. It's a momento. I would buy it if it wasn't so danged expensive!

Walt looks almost like he's staring into a Christmas bulb. His nose looks huge, and his eyes look real tiny. Adorable expression on his face, though...

I think its different. WD has been dead for over 30 years. This isn't grave dancing or trying to cash in on news hype.

How is this any different from someone having a lock of hair or clothes or something?

I haven't participated in any live auctions before so I have to ask ... isn't a 22.5% buyer's premium kinda high? I always thought the auction premium was usually in the 10% range.

That seemed a bit high to me too, it may be because of eBay on top of an auction company.

    A little piece of heaven

Did people autograph their passport pictures back then? I wouldn't know. If they didnt, then it looks like Walt gave it away on his own accord hence the signed picture. So I don't feel bad about it.

Well i feel bad becuase I dont have that kind of cash but you know what i mean.

Well given the description, I doubt he would have given it away since it was still valid at his time of death.
