I saw some people at City Hall recently picking up black and white 8x10 photos of Snow White that were personalized and autographed.
when I asked a CM about it, he didn't really know - thought they came from "corporate". Any ideas on how to get one? I'm looking to get an Ariel or a Tinkerbelle for my cousin.

I went to City Hall and just asked. They asked me the name and the spelling and told me to come back in a few hours to pick it up. They can only do names though, no messages. I got one of Ariel.

I got my from the mail couble of years ago. But I think they stop it. The once I have and they are personalized are...
Daisy Duck=she sign it as To my friend Jeffrey
Tarzan,Terk & Jane=they sign it as To Our friend Jeffrey
Ariel=just like Daisy
Snow White with all the Drawfs=sign as to our friend Jeffrey
Cinderella=Sign it as To Prince Jeffrey
another Ariel=just her name
Peter Pan with Hook & Smee=but only Pan sign it.

I don't know if you can read the writting on them but they are there.
I got mine about a year ago. I got a picture of Belle, Snow White, Aurora and Cinderella all together and another of Ariel. I think they still do it. I'll look for the website right now!
I just send them an email about a photo and I'll wait and see what happens
Interesting. My nephew and sister would love an autographed photo of Peter Pan they are always tracking him down.
My parents got one from Mickey and Minney that said Happy Anniversary signed by Mickey and Minnie. And I have one of Walt driving the horseless carriage on main street with Mickey that I got after receiving a bunch of stuff from Disney many years ago while doing research for a report.lt

About 2 months ago, I called Goofy's Kitchen to get information about getting priority seating for my DS's birthday. The CM asked me who his favorite character was and said that she would send him an autographed picture in the mail. He received a great picture of Mickey in front of the castle just a few days later. I know the DL hotel will also do this when someone is celebrating a birthday or a special occasion and is staying at the hotel.

Went to City Hall and told the CM of why I wanted one - Relatives had been last week during spring break - all the boys got "priority" it seemed - they got to do the coasters and stuff - she missed out on meeting Ariel, her fave princess... so I wanted to get her something special.
I had to ask a couple of times during the conversation if I could get an 8x10... The CM kind of resisted... he made me work for it!
Finally he did take down her name and told me to come back in an hour...
I don't think they want to give tons of them away - they want to make it special, and not common - But if you have a good reason, I think it's a great treat!
Yeah, when we stay at the DL Hotel, we get a few of the photo's signed "happy b-day" for the kids.
Starts the trip off in the right direction!
