    Persistence of Vision Magazine

    Hello!

Does anyone here know the status of the "Persistence of Vision" magazine? I found its website (http://www.disneypov.com/), which was last updated in 2004. It sounds like it was a great magazine about Walt Disney and Disneyland; something akin to the E-Ticket Magazine.

I'd be interested in hearing if anyone here is familiar with it.

    Thanks!

    Dan

There hasn't been a new issue for several years. The publisher Paul F. Anderson said he was working on new stories, and then nothing. I assume that real life got in the way.

I was a subscriber even before the release of Issue #1 (back when it was called Walt's World), and I really miss it.
"JESUS!!! That's Cold!" -- Walt Disney's final words.

"You hear people talk about, 'I don't think Walt would like this,' or 'I don't think Walt would like that.' You have no idea what Walt would want! No clue whatsoever! Because the people that worked with him day in and day out didn't know what Walt wanted. Walt didn't know what he wanted 'til he wanted it."

Yes, Life got in his way and derailed most of his life. He was always at the NFFC Conventions with back issues and we got to know him pretty well. He did break his leg while working on #10 and showed up on crutches. But shortly after that things went South for him and he just sort of gave it all up. We haven't heard from him since then.

Thanks for the info, brassplayer & Lost Boy. I guess I won't be subscribing to what looks like a formerly good publication.
