Here's my two cents worth. My name is Kathleen, which you do find once in awhile, more commonly you find Kathy (YUK) Cathleen or Catherine.
I named my children Amy, Cynthia and Tyler (note traditional spelling on Amy) never had any problems finding them the named items. My husband is Michael and goes by that or Mike, so he is in like flint!
I like the one that you can always get the name on the hats, so true.
I am applauding the great suggestions put forth here, I had no idea about the back of the item to special order the name, that has to be cheaper then the Lillian Verne route.
Try Ian. You would think they would have merchandise with that name on it. Sure it's not terribly popular, but it's not unheard of either. My hubby growing up never could find his name on keychains, mugs, etc... they have it on their keychains @ Disneyland now, but he still resents the fact that his name wasn't there when he was little.
Well my name is Bart and all I can ever find is Bort! Stupid Bort!
Awwwww man! Ya beat me to it. Oh, well at least one other person would have found it funny.
On topic: My name is Matt so I don't have too much trouble.

I NEVER find any merch. with my name on it, my name is Rachael. The common spelling of the name would be Rachel, and there is tons of merch. with that spelling, but none for Rachael, ill look for Ray next time! .
slightly OT - i did meet a CM worrking at Casey Jr. with the name Rachael on her CM pin. hehe.
