Interview with the Captain after the incident:

Reporter: Can you tell us what happened?

Capt: OAKay, I WILLOW do my best. I was at the ELM of the boat, PALMS firmly on the wheel, when out of nowhere, it happened...

Reporter: The girl was struck by the branch?

Capt: No, I remembered a joke I left out as we rounded the hippos... as I was about to say it, the girl was hit by the branch.

Reporter: Doesn't the roof over the boat help protect the guests?

Capt: I thought you might ASHk me that... That's what it's there FIR, but she was STICKing out a little ways. You see her boyfriend was on the BEECH... she was trying to lean out and see him... aPEARantly, he WOOD do this at every ride.

Reporter: Could they see eachother?

Capt: No, I think she was just PINING for him. Such a SAP she was.

Reporter: Was she okay?

Capt: She was OLIVE and kicking, but they rushed her to get medical attention, just to be safe. At that point, we had all the guests LEAF the boat.

Reporter: There you have it folks... It's been said before, but I'll say it again... some people groan about the jokes on the Jungle Cruise, others complain about lines... Today we find out the biggest danger on the cruise, sometimes... It's BARK is worse than it's bite.

The lawyers probably want to enclosed the Jungle Cruise
boats completley ~ like the new proposed peoplemovers.

The Disneyland Jungle ~ where the Plants are more dangerous
than the animals!

Hey maybe they should add HUGE Man-Eating plant
somewhere along the route!
