It would have been better if it was the TTH, at least that is already closed, watch their gonna close JC and trim back any tree that extends over the water, its gonna be a tragedy.

Aren't the Jungle Cruise boats covered? The wind must have really been blowing.

whoda thunk with all those wild animals that the ride's bark would be worse than its bite.

Injury on Jungle Cruise

[Breaking News]

Visitor Injured on Ride at Disneyland
April 18, 2007, 1:18 PM PDT

Anaheim Fire officials say a tree limb fell on a passenger who was riding a boat on the Jungle Cruise ride at Disneyland on Wednesday.

Officials say the person suffered minor injuries in the incident, which happened at 12:40 p.m.

So far there is no word on whether the wind played a factor in the limb falling. Copyright © 2007, KTLA

Re: Injury on Jungle Cruise

Wow, that's very unfortunate. Hope that guest is okay.

This sounds like another incident that couldn't have been prevented - reminds me of that tree that fell on several guests in Frontierland a few years back. Should be interesting to see if there's any investigation or if the Jungle Cruise closes - though I doubt it for something so minor.

And is it windy in Anaheim? Because it's perfectly calm here.

Re: Injury on Jungle Cruise

It's breaking news on KCAL 9 right now.

17 year old female. Transported to local hospital complaining of neck injury.

Yes it's very windy here in Anaheim.

The Jungle Cruise is currently closed.

I suppose. If they removed all the trees on the Jungle Cruise it would be safer.

not sick.. usually i wait for page 2 to tell the jokes. now that we got the loop and is the limb ok... the thread is ripe for question.. will the person sue the limb for hurting themselves. (too soon?)
