DaddyB Photo Update for April 18th 2007

Great update Brett. I just wondered if you use your tripod on HM or are just catching those shots by hand?

Those doombuggies "pan" way too much (and then jiggle back and forth a bit after the pan) to use a tripod on them. The singing busts shot I took well before the doombuggie panned to face them. So everything I take on their I shoot by hand.

1600ISO with varying shutter (around 1/30-60th of a second) and aperture (around 1.8 to 2.4) settings. No flash, of course. I rode the HM about 4 times in a row to get those shots. Sometimes I shot "RAW" and sometimes just high quality JPGs. Honestly they're either as likely to be usable.

Well, I'm glad I crack someone up... clearly it's not Mrs. DaddyB. Perhaps after 11 years she's just used to my corny jokes... or perhaps it's just been 11 years of living with me (she's a very forgiving woman).
