    Talking 4/15/07- DznylndDuck's First Meet, Trip Report (PHOTO HEAVY!)

    As Sunday was my first official meet as a MC member, I thought I'd record the occasion with my first "New Tread" post and my first "Trip Report"!

    I started the day bright eyed and bushy tailed, meeting up with my friends Kevin (demento57), Sey (sanguinepoppet), Tyler (dolewhipman), and Stacie (superstacie) who trekked down from Bakersfield.

    Luckily, I had remembered to grab one of my rubber duckies from home, so I could fulfill a wish of bringing one to the park to take random pictures w/ it...


    We started off the day with our tradition of heading towards Tomorrowland,and stopping first @ Star Tours. Due to unforseen enthusiasim from Kevin and a scared four-year old, we actually got to ride it 1.5 times. From there we headed over to Space Mntn for Fastpasses and then over to Autopia (or, as we girls in the group call it "Auto-topia").


    As we were getting off the ride, fourtune struck as we were handed Fastpass Badges!


    We decided to break them in on BLAB, where splitting up into Boy/Girl groups, the girls had a landslide victory...


    From Buzz, we headed into Fantasyland for a little IASW...


    And then onto Mickey's Toon Town...where we met the Mouse himself!



    After TT, we headed back over to use our Space Mntn FP... all I can say is, it's a good thing none of us know when they snap the pic on that ride... or we'd all be hamming it up... oh... wait...



    It was then time to head over to the HUB for the meet, but not before stopping by the Tiki Room for dolewhipman's first taste of the day...


    We were a bit early, so I took advantage of the time to capture some Kodak Moments...




    The meet was great! I met a whole buch of very nice people! And I even got to acquaint myself with some new, small, and fuzzy editions to the park...


    The MCers took a vote, and we ended up going to the French Market for lunch...


    (Sanguinepoppet's fav. DLR beverage)

    (I'm a poor college student, so I got the kid's meal...)


    After lunch, our group headed up to the Disney Gallery, and then decided to trek over to DCA... w/ a quick stop @ the Dole Whip stand...



    Upon entering the Hollywood Backlot, we saw the characters I had been hoping all day to run into...

    I know he's only 13... in 2037...and a cartoon... but I love him anyway...

    AAAANNNDDD... one of the best Disney villans EVER!

    BOWLER HAT GUY!

    (BTW, one of the best Characters in the park... totally into it)

    So, after our MTR character photoshoot we went and did ToT...



    And then we ran into some more friends...



    Later that evening, we had dinner @ Storytellers Cafe where we joined up with Sam...


    and caught the DL Electrical Parade...


    Before heading back to the Magic Kingdom...
    For Dole Whip Stop #3


    From there we did the Tiki Room, Jungle Cruise, Indy, HM, and Big Thunder before heading to Space Mntn...


    and with a final stop @ Star tours... our day was finished... and so were Sey and I...

    ...but not Stacie for some reason

    Those are all great shots! My favorite is also the one with Pinocchio. Looks like your duck had quite the adventure!
