The old sub voyage had horrendously long lines. The new ride will definitely keep that tradition, and then some.

But be on the look out.....ummmm keep an eye open......Oh wait keep your ears open for some of the spiel to sound a lot like the old one.

    BTW no serpent

Well, one of the original shipwrecks are being returned, all of the atlantis stuff is being stored, so some stuff may be returned.

One was sold on ebay?? Link/Archive? The only one I know was sold was one at the 50th Auction.

As Walt Jr mentioned above, one of the old wrecked ships is still in the attraction.

In the most recent installment of the Official Disneyland Resort Video Podcast, Tony Baxer says that the first wrecked ship you encounter in the ship graveyard is the same one from the original attraction, and that although the sea serpent isn't around, you might be able to see "evidence" of him:

"Going into the Graveyard of Ships, if you look closely, the first wrecked ship is actually one that was part of the original ride. And if you remember the old ride, the last thing that was in it was a good old sea serpent. Well, he's not there anymore, but for those of you who really believe in magic and if you look really, really hard, you might be able to find evidence of that sea serpent."

Well of course not. It's rotted for almost a decade. They need new pieces installed...that doesn't mean, however, that certain sceneic elements from the old attraction will not be re-created. The volcano is a for sure testimony to that (probably won't look exactly how it did in the old attraction but it's still a volcano).

People, the sea serpent that was sold on ebay WASN'T from our Submarine Voyage...that came from WDW. I've seen that claim be corrected in every Subs thread that mentions it. Enough already!
