I know Winnie the Pooh could use plenty! of improvement (its still a charming ride tho). But Splash Mountain is amazing! I wonder where Splash would rank in a rides poll???

I moved my husband here from the Big Easy. He loves NOS. Since we can't go to home in Feb. We go to NOS.

NOS used to sell mint julep concentrate, remember that? I loved making it at home.

    Re: Best Disneyland Land (poll)

If this were a "Yesterland" poll, Tomorrowland and NOS would be a toss-up for me. I'd also consider "Bear" Country.

But "Nemo" notwithstanding, today's Tomorrowland leaves me absolutely cold, as does the "Critter" thing, so it is New Orleans Square all the way.

I could do with far less pirates, of course, but I'm obviously going way against the crowd on that one.

Hmm - if it were just a matter of the rides, Fantasyland would be my choice - partially for nostalgia's sake, partially because I think so many of the rides are just so well done. But if you look at the whole picture, NOS is my choice. It is the one place I go to every time I'm at Disneyland. It's the one place hubby has to go to every time we're there together. We usually eat there, often will browse the shops, and always go on at least one of the rides (HM or POTC). There is just so much there.

    Winning by a NOS.

Guess Walt was right. New Orleans Square did deserve to be its own land.

Tomorrowland... in the 80's. Hopefully soon, it will be again.

It's amazing that you can walk 100 feet and feel like you are in a totally different place than before.

NOS is my favorite but all of the lands are unique and well themed!

New Orleans Square is my favorite land of any land that I've ever visited. I've been to WDW, DLR, and DLP.

No other land immerses you into the experience like NOS. The sights, the smells, the ambience, the entertainers and of course the two best rides in the park.

    I LOVE NOS!!!!!
