Woooot! Easy care and limited sunshine are excellent qualities for my patio! I am going to keep my eyes open for sales and get a bush or two.

I got mine at www.jacksonandperkins.com Just type in "Disneyland".
If you order them soon, you can get them any time before June. If you wait, they'll send them to you right after Christmas. They always wait and send them at the time of the year that's best for roses. (depending on where you live, of course.)

*JUST* returned from our local nursery (MOLBAKS) with my brand spankin' new DISNEYLAND Rose!! I was hoping to find it rather than have to mail order - save a few pennies from the shipping! woohoo I'm off to plant!
So MOLBAKS has got them huh? Cool. Unfortunately after thinking about it, by the time I pay for gas to get there and back, it will be much cheaper to just mail order the rose from Jackson and Perkins. If I had another reason to go that way it would be something else altogether, but I bet I'll pay nearly 20 in gas to get from Bremerton to Molbaks and back.

Congratulations on getting one. Post a picture once they bloom.

Beleve it or not, I got mine at Costco. They had a huge display of roses around January-February. Not sure if they still have them. I only found a few of the Disneyland Rose, maybe someone else here on MiceChat scooped them up before me.

My wife wants to plant some roses this year. I'm going to check out a few local places and if I can't find them there I will be ordering them. She loves these roses.
You can think I'm wrong, but that's no reason to quit thinking.

Re: My Disneyland roses are blooming...

I just got back from getting one. I paid 17.99 for it. I called Jackson Perkins to buy 1, but they were sold out. I asked if they had any places in the area that sold their product and she gave me a list. Very helpful and good customer service. Anyways, One place was real close so I called them and they did not have it, but they recommended a place about a 1/2 hour away. They had them and I went and got one. If you live in the Tacoma or Gig Harbor WA area and are lookign for roses, Raft Island Roses in Gig Harbor has tons. Best selection I have seen in a long time.

I just gave my mom her rose. It's a late birthday/early mother's day gift . She loves it. She already knows where she is going to put it. I wanted her to have it now so it can be planted by Mother's Day. I did not care for the picture on the tag so I showed her your pictures Circarama. SHe thinks they're gorgous. Thanks to all who helped me locate it.

Melonballer your mom's roses are gorgeous. I love how it looks like big pink in full bloom roses against the little orange buds. My hats off to her.
