    when was space mountain painted white

    can someone tell me when the color of Space Mountain was changed from brown to white please

    I believe it was during the latter half of 2003.

    I was there when it was half white and really really REALLY hoped it wasn't just primer! SO glad they're wiping the rouge off Tomorrowland...

    Did they install a new lighting system during the re-paint? Judging by this photo:

    they nevewr "painted it" all white.. only some.. If i remember correctly they installed new roof pannels to fix any leakage and make it look nicer.. it is painted..

    "Space Mountain White"

    Or am I remembering something old and not correct...

    they did it last year?

    Hated the brown..... LOVE the white.

    But i do Wonder what it would look like Painted Black...maybe with a space scene?..Hmmm

    Space Mountain was bronze from 1998 - 2003. White primer went up in September 2003.
