Id ask him if he plans on giving the Cast Members a raise anytime soon, especially those hard working Foods Cast members who stay on for more than 90 days and bust their butts, while they constantly have people receiving jobs than leaving so sson.

Also I'd ask him to join the graveyard custodial for a night to realize that pan and brooming are very important during the day, but that he needs to see what happens at night and who makes the park sparkle in the morning (I'm a former night custodial cm and we were always overlooked).

The problem with getting Ed's attention is that I'm not a 2o year-old beauty queen therefore the question is moot. But after explaining what the people mover was along with a powerpoint presentation, I would ask him when he plans to get them back on the track

Actually, I did see him in the park. After 50 years, he fired Oscar at the Carnation Cafe! Don't believe me? Look at the picture below...

Just kiddin'! Actually, I went to Carnation Cafe about 2 weeks ago and saw Ed having lunch. He actually seems like a nice guy and seems to LISTEN to all feedback (including CM's). Nothing to complain about. Oscar is a great guy too. It's interesting listening to his stories of where he worked in the park and how he trained the CM's in Paris and other parks.

"Once a man has tasted freedom he will never be content to be a slave. That is why I believe that this frightfulness we see everywhere today is only temporary. Tomorrow will be better for as long as America keeps alive the ideals of freedom and a better life. All men will want to be free and share our way of life... I thank God and America for the right to live and raise my family under the flag of tolerance, democracy and freedom."
    -Walt Disney, March 1, 1941

“Whatever success I have had in bringing clean, informative entertainment to people of all ages, I attribute in great part to my Congregational upbringing and my lifelong habit of prayer. To me, today, at age sixty-one, all prayer, by the humble or highly placed, has one thing in common: supplication for strength and inspiration to carry on the best human impulses which should bind us together for a better world. Without such inspiration, we would rapidly deteriorate and finally perish. But in our troubled time, the right of men to think and worship as their conscience dictates is being sorely pressed. We can retain these privileges only by being constantly on guard and fighting off any encroachment on these precepts. To retreat from any of the principles handed down by our forefathers, who shed their blood for the ideals we still embrace, would be a complete victory for those who would destroy liberty and justice for the individual.”

I'm so glad to meet you. This is one of my favorite places. May I share with you some of the things that have made Disneyland so special for me all my life? Will you share with me the things that make Disneyland special for you?

That would be me. It was stolen from me by an Innoventions CM that was bored and had nothing to do. He eavesdropped on my conversation with John Travolta and retired Michael Eisner. Then, he put my idea in the suggestion box...and the rest is history.

Damn those bored Innoventions CM's! They can go for weeks there without ever seeing a guest.
