Re: Do you enjoy 'people watching' @ Disneyland?

Yes, people watching is great. I really notice how far more people in Disneyland wear Disney clothing (hats & t-shirts) than they do in WDW. The Disney spirit is stronger in Disneyland.

An added benefit of sitting on a bench and people-watching is being able to soak in the ambiance of the park. Sometimes people are too busy rushing from attraction to attraction to notice the park's beauty. The park itself is an attraction. Take the time to enjoy it.

COOL EXPERIENCE: My wife and I were sitting on a bench in the hub, facing the Matterhorn and Tomorrowland when we saw a big furry striped (Disney) cat run across the road toward the Partners Statue. I didn't see where he ended up, but that sure was an unexpected surprise. Usually I only see the cats on the ROA and by the old Skyway attraction in Fantasyland. Now I can add cat-watching to the list...

I like to make note of the "stuff" people have -- great market analysis. Better than TV commercials.

Listening to the tourists IS hysterical. However, I'm still dumbfounded at how many 'regulars' still call Innoventions "INNOVATIONS".

My gf and I love to hang out especially in front of PoC and people watch. Last time we went to the DLR however, we spent TWO HOURS on the walkway above the geysers at GRR watching all the different people either get soaked or manage to luck out with some near-misses. It was way more entertaining and addictive than I thought it'd be. We were constantly saying "Not yet, lets just wait for one more raft!"
I'm literally a born Disney fan! I was born at Providence St. Joseph Med Center right across the street from Disney Studios in Burbank. The same hospital where Walt died.

I usually people watch when I'm waiting for the parade or fireworks to start. It's one of my favorite things to do there! Especially when I'm with someone I can say crazy stuff to about the people we're watching!

One of the games my brother and I play while people watching is picking out people that "sorta" look like famous people and pointing them out to the other person. The trick isn't to find someone who actually looks like the famous person, but instead find someone who has a similarity but looks so amazingly different that it makes the suggestion ridiculous. The other person playing with you has to be able to see WHY you said that, and get why it's so darn funny.

I love to people watch. I don't have a specific spot, but it's fun to just sit and take in the crowds sometimes.

OK, I get that. That's lots of fun! I do this occasionally, comparing people to celebrities or people I know.

We often see a lady that looks just like Bruce Vilanch.

Yes, I do it at Disneyland, Disney World and all over. At the parks though I usually enjoy my time on Main Street, soaking up the atmosphere and that's when I also start people watching.

I love to watch people. There are interesting ones at DL that is for sure. No other comments.

For a writing course in college we had to write an observational paper. My GF (now wifey) and I did our observation at DL. I chose the exit of the haunted mansion. We forgot paper and took notes in autograph books. lol

    I got an A too.
