But for an even larger version, suitable for a desktop, so I don't blow up everyone's computer and use up their memory, just go to this link:

Froggy, that's another beautiful photo update!!! Just when I think I've seen the best shots from your collection, you come up with another amazing set of photos. The food shots from Catal look great! I know that taking food photos is harder than it looks. Well, at least I find it challenging. LOL! And I'm still trying to figure out the best way to photograph the characters during Electrical Parade. Your pictures really inspire me to keep trying. Thanks again for this update!

Your photos never cease to amaze, and I also have a new desktop photo! Thank you! And it was great to share dinner with you and your wife in Hollywood.

Question: How do you get your M Inc and especially your Electric Parade Pics to come out so darn clear!!!???
All the other ones I've ever seen or taken are so blurry.
Is it just your awesome camera or is there some cool setting I should be using?

Agreed. Great photos and I agree about the Electrical Parade photos. They came so clear and sharp. Thanks once again for letting us share the Park with you.

Thank you and thanks everyone for the comments! The photos you see here were all taken with a 50mm prime 1.8 lens, which makes night shots a little easier. Most people take photographs with a longer shutter speed, and it's the longer shutter speed that makes them blurry. With maximum aperture, and a faster shutter speed (1/60th or so), and even a bump up in the ISO, you can take photographs in dark rides, or of parades, without the blur.

For somewhat obvious reasons, the Electrical Parade is challenging for photography - it's at night, and has somewhat dimly lit scenes and faces, and constantly moving characters and floats. It may take a few tries to get it just right for your camera!

Beautiful photos!! Clearly you have an artist's eye for composition, as well as seeing details others might pass by. thanks too, for the tip on the night photos.

While I believe that what's usually behind a good photo is the ability of the photographer to recognize a moment, may I ask what brand and model camera you're using? I'm currently in the process of trying to choose a higher-end camera because I'm going to the Pirates Premiere. But there are so many choices on DPReview.com, I'm overwhelmed. As I don't have your eye for detail, I need all the help I can get!

Matcase: Thank you - I still have to post pictures of the duck, and it was delicious also. It was all delicious.

MollyTrolly: Thanks! I have fun with the Electrical Parade, trying out different settings, etc. Too bad it's only a "sometimes' parade.

Ktfaye: The camera question I get so much, I put it in my signature - but you might have signatures turned off and didnt' see it. I have a Canon RebelXT (350d) digital SLR camera.
