Pirate's Lair May 25th

From people working on TSI, I've heard mixed opinions on whether the island will be fully finished by May 25th. But that aside, Disneyland officially has TSI coming back online on May 25th. Will there by any ceremony on the 25th? Or is Disneyland holding off to better highlight the subs opening two weeks later? Also, Darkbeer and others, how committed is DL to opening the island on the 25th?

I hope they open it on time becasue I will be at Disneyland at that time. Flying in on the 24. Plus that is Memorial Day weekend so I'm sure they want to open the summer with a new area.

open or not, I probably will never go over there, there was nothing over there last year when I decided to check it out and theres just not anything over there for the adult that I heard of. So chances are I'll never go on it haha

I'll be there for my b-day from the 23-26 so I'm hoping it's open. It'll be my only chance to check it out for a while

I had the assumption it was going to be a total makeover, but it seems just a few things are being added. Nothing super cool like AA"s or anything, not that I know of anyway

You haven't been reading Al's updates closely, then.

Remember that skeleton AA (the one that has the cool effect of flesh beginning to appear on it's form) that was supposed to be put in PotC for it's updates, but it didn't happen? It's going into this update for TSI instead.

There will be plenty of things for adults to enjoy with kids. That's a huge reason why I'm happy about these updates.

Probably they won't have the island open, but maybe they'll do the stunt show for the premier.

I'm going to be there the end of May/early June so I'll get to see it, but I'll miss the subs unless I manage to catch a soft opening.

I just hope it does not get to crowed the last week of May/June. I am taking my mom and dad to Disneyland for the frist time and My mom really wants to go on everything.

If it's memorial day weekend, forget it. But even so, just go at a leisurely pace. 3 days is more than enough to see DL and DCA even on crowded days. If it is just one you wont see everything but you will be able to do most of the major rides.
