I have to add that this was my first time visiting his office in his new building and it cracked me up that his cubicle had the exact same type of location as the cubicle of the main guy in the movie Office Space. I could picture my hubby just unscrewing the back walls of his cubicle and shoving them down to get a better view out the window when he's sitting down. But now that his cubicle looks like the Tiki Room inside, I'm sure he'll be content to leave the wall up! LOL

The tiki decorations are extraordinary in what used to be such a drab place of work. I love the whole theme and even though the origami was cool looking and I'm sure took a lot of time, your hubby's cubicle was far cooler from the pics you've shown us here. Thanks for sharing and I think it's safe to say that at least your hubby came in first place here on MiceChat.

Yes I get to keep it that way - that was one of the criteria for winning - it had to be functional.

Here are some views of the 1st-place winner:

It's an array of 224 origami cranes (7x8x4 deep) suspended over his space, with some anime posters and toys. Very self-expressive - the other criterion. It had to describe the owner of the space.

It's really dramatic to see in person, and the precision is extraordinary.

Anyway, that's what won.
