I was trying to make it out to the parks this summer and sadly...I was kind of looking forward to meeting those characters out of any of them. Too bad they were pulled so quick but that was really a small window for that opportunity. Well congrats to those who got pics and got to meet them.

It was a forgettable film--these new "Pixar" movies have little staying power (in the Public Consciousness) due to their disposable nature--the frequency with which they are produced, and the lack of a distinct cohesive animation "style" does not help them stand out from other Computer Animation Studios, or stand out from other movies that are produced by Pixar themselves. | Re: No more Meet the Robinsons characters? the movie was done by WDFA not pixar but there are three big disney movies coming out within 4 months. I can see them puting merchandise on sale at disney store because rattatoulli and Pirates are coming and there is limitted shelf space at disney stores. |

| Re: No more Meet the Robinsons characters? Wow -- I feel lucky then! I REALLY wanted a pic with the Bowler Hat Guy and I scored one this past Friday while at DCA. I think he's an above-average Disney villain and definitely one of the more amusing visually. It's a shame that these characters had such a short shelf-life in the parks.

| Re: No more Meet the Robinsons characters? If they really are pulling the characters this early, that is pretty ridiculous. They had Chicken Little and Abby Mallard out for at least a year (and maybe they still are, I don't know), and that movie wasn't all that great either. I liked Robinsons much much better as a matter of fact. Let's hope the CM blog is incorrect. |
