Can you imagine if they took all the money they invested in building DCA, and placed it instead into DL???? What an amazing park DL could have become!

on that same note, can you imagine if the hadn't started penny pinching how amazing a park DCA could have been. The original plans were cool till the money ax came down.

Wow, people really do hate this park, don't they? Message after message in these chatrooms makes that perfectly clear.

I've been one of those people who have put it down and imagined endlessly how to fix it. But honestly, despite its shortcomings (which are many) isn't it better than an empty parking lot? Ca. Screamin' is one of the best roller coasters I've ever been on at any park, Soarin' is wonderful and the Redwood area is beautiful.

Finished? No. All that it could be? Of course not. But just give it a few more years, let the new TDA suits come up with some new things and let those trees grow.

I only hope the jumbled theme can take on a solid direction.

Add my voice in as someone who loves DCA. It's quite far from perfect, true. But I love Screamin, I love Soarin', I love Tower, I love Aladdin, I love GRR, I love eating ice cream while listening to the Wave Riders, and I love the margarita stand.

The former Superstar Limo is scheduled to get a Monsters, Inc. overlay, the rumor is to open in early 2006....

Most people know it could have been better (due mostly to Al Lutz), that it was hyped as being the Second Coming, and has been a bomb ever since.

No, it's not better than a parking lot. John Hench said so himself. The parking lot helped build the anticipation, because you could SEE Disneyland from it. Screamin' is a Six Flags D ticket (if such a thing can be imagined), at best. Fine, but certainly not the best I've ever been on.

We can only hope someone working there has a better imagination than the rest of us combined. And, of course, buy out the remaining non-Disney-owned property, so all Timon/Pumbaa can be developed.

New theme is what it needs the most.

The thing is slowly growing on people. I think that most people (Darkbeer) can find something of interest there, but as a whole it fails. Most people would consider it about 1/4 of a park, since the other 3/4 are of no interest.
