Barbaraann, WDW APs are not really that expensive when you take in account the cheer amount of things to do within that resort. At TDR.. the premium pass for a year goes for an average of $580, give or take a few bucks due to currency exchange rates) and all you get is two theme parks with NO DISCOUNTS of any kind at any venue in the resort, including hotels, restaurants and the like. Plus to add insult to injury, the TDR APs do NOT garranty admission into the parks if you arrive there after the parks have closed due to reaching capacity (which happens often during holidays and some weekends and special event days)
well technically my AP has been expired for almost 1.5 years. this didnt stop them from sending me a letter asking me to join the 50th celebration & come home! of course they failed to check they're files so they would see that i've been a CM for 2 years!!!! but I did hold an AP for 5 years.
This might also be skewed 'cuz it's in Disneyland forum and not WDW forum.
Good morning, son
In twenty years from now
Maybe we'll both sit down and have a few beers
And I can tell you 'bout today
And how I picked you up and everything changed
It was pain
Sunny days and rain
I knew you'd feel the same things...
