very cool (except for TSI becoming overtaken by pirates). As much as I am opposed to the pirates on TSI, that entry sign for the rafts, is well done and themed.
Is the ship on the front of the stage part of pirates lair or the premiere?

The props brought in for the Premiere; the shipwreck, the cannons, etc. are all made out of molded foam. Chunks and bits of it have already broken off while they were moved in, and they've had to glue them back on and do emergency repairs and painting on it. It's only made to last for the night of the party and will be tossed into the trash around 1:30 AM on Saturday night.
None of it will be used in Pirate's Lair.
And now that I've seen the Island and Pirate's Lair, I can expect all of the naysayers online to be eating giant platters of crow on Memorial Day!

Although I would rather that TSI stayed in its original non-pirate form, I really don't like the whole "Pirates Lair on TSI" thing.
Its just confusing and the theming doesn't match up and its a very silly compromise, IMO.
As much as it hurts me to say this, I hope the "on TSI" will fade away quickly, so that the healing can begin
It's like literary foreshadowing, but with a catchy song and robotic pirates

The pirates kicked Tom out. Nothing will be left that gives a tribute to Tom.
I think that Tom's name still shows up on a tombstone in the island grave yard.
