    Creative DLR wear help, please

When my family went to DLR for the 50th I made each person a shirt with something on the back representing their favorite ride*. I tried to find images that were simple and iconic, rather than representational. They turned out well, if I do say so myself:

Now my 2-year-old niece will be making her first trip to DL, and I want to make a shirt for her. Obviously she doesn't have a favorite ride yet, so I'm a bit stuck as to what to put on her shirt. I'm hoping that some of the brilliant minds here can help me come up with something.

    TIA!

*Yes, I am just a little bit insane. When we went to WDW in 2000, my husband and I ate at Victoria and Albert's at the chef's table. In honor of the occasion I made us authentic Victorian era clothing; I even wore a corset! I'm lucky my husband is such a good sport...

How about a shirt with "DL First-Timer's Club" on it?

You can't go wrong with the castle or the Carousel. Does she have a movie she likes that is also an attraction? Alice, Snow White, Peter Pan, Dumbo, etc.

Ooh, I like that, maybe embroidered over a silhouette of the castle?

The images on the shirts are appliqued. I blew up pics that I had scrounged from the internet, traced them and used them as templates for cutting out the fabric pieces. I was time-consuming, but well worth it.

    Thanks for the great ideas!

we made tie dyed shirts for the Mouse Adventure a few years back...
they were tied in a way that had Mickey ears on the backs of them!

    Welcome to MiceChat!

That is a fun idea! I love the Eyes of Mara shirt.

I think the shirts with the favorite ride is a very cute idea. But Iím not a fan of the tie dye, makes me dizzy.
For your niece anything princess will be nice, or a maybe her favorite princess costume.
    So... what do you think?

I really like the "First Timer's" idea, and I've come up with a design:

The actual shirt fabric is a bit more pink, and I plan to embroider "Disneyland" in rainbow colors---different colors for each letter.

I hope to be done with the shirt by the time the weekend is over. I'll post pictures when I've finished.
