A while back I remember they sold off some of the Keel boats on eBay. I couldn't afford one but that would of made such a cool "gazebo" in my back yard!!!

Buying a peoplemover, eh? If I had the money I would get it...make my own peoplemover in the back yard...have it go through the bushes, through the garage, across the street, through the neighbor's house...
Marge: Barnacle Bill's Home Pregnancy Test? Homer, shouldn't we have gone with a better-known brand?
Homer: But Marge, this one came with a corn-cob pipe!
Marge: [reading from the test box] "Ahoy, Maties! If the water turns blue, a baby for you! If purple ye see, no baby thar be!"
Homer: So, which is it? Blue or purple?
    Marge: Pink.
    Homer: D'oh!
Marge: "If ye test should fail, to a doctor set sail!"

:SIGH:. It's cool that they have a PM car, but it's in such a bad shape!

Why is it in Orlando, if it's from Disneyland?

For that much, can I get one without the crappy paint job? That's so weird, I've seen this auctioned off before sometime last year. Maybe they didn't have a taker.

Let's hope they use the money from the auction to produce new Peoplemover cars so they can BRING BACK THE ATTRACTION!

Mouse surplus had a Space Mountain rocket car and a Snow Whites's mine car. They would ship to the West Coast for $300

the guy is a good man.... He makes deals with some of the items.. he buys diret form disney.. doesn't matter what park.. he gets an influx of parts from recently closed places.... and has channces tog et things from older rides closed sitting ins torage.. hence the skyway car... (isn't their a bunch of old PM cars backstage somewhere..?)
The fantasy land sign was from the character greeting in MK....

And to the local Disney Store, naturally.
Trivia: On April Fool's Day 2004, Disneyland guests found -- at the insistence of the board of directors -- the gigantic dragon featured in Fantasmic replaced with a gigantic Roy Disney (leading to a reprimand to the cast member playing Mickey Mouse when he hugged the giant instead of fighting it)

Hm. This Peoplemover car would have to be pretty junked out, wouldn't it? I mean, it's one of the couple that Disney decided were so bad that they hauled them out of the warehouse and repainted them in blue with reflective tape.

If I was bidding, I'd save that money for an originally painted, and likely better, one to show up someday.
