I really want to go! I want to expierence the whole red carpet sideline thing but my husband is hesitant because he feels it will be a waste. I'm a little more optimistic but I thought I would see if there are some micechatters out there who could give me thier opinion on thier expierences at the previous POTC premieres. I know there have been a few posts out there about what to expect but I'm looking to see more if it's worth it.......The 60 bucks in blackout tickets, the VERY early saturday morning, the long wait, the crowds, etc. Is it possible to get there at 10am and still have a chance for a decent spot? HELP!

P.S. This is only my second posting but I was so excited to see how fast and helpful micechatters were with my last question that I thought I would try and get some help again!

Unless you're there by 6:30 at the latest, you'll be out of luck. Last year we got there when the park opened at 6:00am and stood in line to get in. All the teeny bopper Johnny and Orlando fans camped out over night and had all of Main Street taken up within 10 seconds of the gates opening; we got a spot in front of the castle. So yes 10am is way too late for any good spot.

Ok, I get it. 10am is a no no. I just can't imagine sitting out there from 5am to 5pm and longer though.

I seem to remember last year that the people who got there in the morning took up one side of main street and the other side was left open for a walkway and equipment, then in the afternoon they filled people in into those areas. but if you want to be up against the rail and actually shake their hand then get there at opening.

Yeah, I was wondering those things too. Oh for those who went last year, where would you say is the best spot to grab to see all the celebs pass by? Hopefully I get to go.
