Trip report, but mostly pictures from someone who did not sit on the red carepet.

We planned on going on May 19 knowing about he premiere, but we had no plans of seeing the red carpet parade. We were hoping for small lines and it panned out. We got to the park at 7:30am. They announced on the tram in all the seating for the event was filled up. The tram had plenty of people with blnakets on it. I'm not sure what they did.

    7:34am the red carpet.:

    and towards the train station.

this was later in the day:

the screen (I braved the smoking section. I had no ill effects.)

    The bleachers:

So, we had enough of the premier stuff,. We decided to go on the ride.

We had breakfast at the riverbelle terrace. Most of the peopel were taking to go boxes back to the red carpet.

Nice pictures. I like the black frames. It gives dramatic emphasis.

We headed to the Haunted Mansion next. There was no line at all.

    The hidden mickey plates

After HM we walked right on to Splash Mountain. We were loving no lines...

    It's Mr. Blue Bird

We went on dumbo...no line...I have not been on dumbo in years. We just strolled around taking in the scenery, landscape and park animals. It was a very relaxing day.

We saw an egret. He/she was beautiful.

About this time I remembered the walls for the subs were down. We spent some tome looking at the subs. One started to go and it brought back so many memories. i love the subs, even though they give me claustrophobia, The driver of the sub was concentrating, but when he saw us watching he smiled and waved.

    yeah!!! Only 25 more days

Snow whites grotto....nobody was over there. It seemed the only crowd was on main street.

Video games set up for the premiere.

A quarter pressing machine and the three desgns offered.

knowing how packed main street was, we took the monorail to downtown disney. We went to our two favorite stores. Fossil (I got a purse and a wallet) and sephora (mascara). We went through GCH to DCA.

We thought DCA may be crowded, but it wasn't. We had lunch at the pacific wharf. Clam chowder in bread bowls.

After lunch we went on TOT, our picture didn't come up . Then we went on Monsters inc....no line...

    that ride is so cute.

sailor Mickey interacting with a child...awe, how cute

shoes....flip flops, beach walkers or thongs. My mother and I love them. We have several pairs and look every time we go.

We wondered around DCA and looked at the plants/landscape. I love how the grapes are growing on the fence.

    grapes:

    Flowers:

    a bird taking flight:

    I love these doors.

    The new ride structure.

We had to go back into Disneyland to pick up some name art we had done. We should ahve taken the monorail, but we walked down main street. It was packed and people were just standing in areas they should not ave been. It made it difficult to make our way down the sidewalk. Eventually we ducked into the stores and went that way.

We picked up the art and my mother wanted to look in the emporium. Yikes...main street was a zoo, but we headed that way. We did not make it to the emporium. They had us go back stage. We saw where they keep the jungle cruise boats. We came out right at the emporium, she started to look, but decided to just leave. I was very happy, because I did not want to be anywhere near man street when the stars started coming down.

So, we left. there was no lin for the tram. We stopped at the McDonald's on harbor to get a drink for the ride home. I'm glad we did, because we hit traffic, but made it home well before dark.

We had a great day and enjoyed the parks with no crowds 9except for main street) and no lines for the rides.

thank you. I didn't bring all my lenses, because they are way to heavy to carry all day. I made due with the two lighter ones
