The entertainment department is supposed to be getting a new pre-parade float for Ratatouille. I know that the arrival of the float has been behind schedule from a week or two ago, but I'm not sure it's managed to show up yet or on the general status of it.
Also the Christmas Parade for this year is supposed to be featuring 2 new floats as well as a "Walking" Ariel. Not sure of any other details.

Where will this ratatoille float go? For the new pixar parade in dca soon or for the christmas parade?
well the new pixar parade will not debut till next year so i doubt they will wait that long to debut a float for a movie that comes out in a month.
My guess is that it will be a preparade float for DCA. Hopefully its out befoe the movie comes out to start helping premote the movie.

Re: Ratatouille Pre-Parade Float Arrival Date? & New Christmas Floats Rumor. Great News! IM glad Christmas Fantasy is getting something new! As much as I love Christmas Fantasy I wish that it was more like Mickey's Very Merry Christmas parade in the fact that each section of the parade has it's own unique soundtrack..30 times in a row of "There's a special magic at Christmas time this year..." get's a little old. =) True the middle sections of each unit are different but that's only about a minute and 30 seconds of different music. Anyway....Hooray! =)
there's a video over at Visions Fantastic of the new Ratatouille pre-parade float. It's right before Walt Disney's Parade of Dreams at Disneyland. It's a nice little thing.

The pre-parade looks great! Once people see the movie, it will be a highlight of the parade! I am very excited that new floats for the Christmas parade are coming. There needs to be an update there. It will make another reason to visit DL during the holidays.
