Nemo Painter - "Oh shoot! We forgot to put the water proof sealer!"

Maybe there is a portion of the ride that gets a little "too close" and it scratches because on both subs it looks like the damage is in the same spot.

So does anyone have any pics of Explorer's nose? She has similar damage to the paint and a large round dent.

My guess is that the clearances were so close that even if the sub leaned a little due to weight it would make contact. They probably put in the weights to simulate people and the submarine leaned to one side.

Don't you just hate getting that first scratch on your brand new sub?

I noticed it the other day. I'll try to get a pic if it's still the same when I go back. I saw a construction CM sanding it and trying to get it smooth. I noticed the dent a little bit later. It looked like the right position for a fenderbender if Explorer had been coming around a corner and there was a stalled submarine just ahead. Perhaps coming out of the waterfall towards load/unload?

Maybe they ought to coat the subs with a lubricant.
