Can someone tell me what this means? I usually see it in one or two spaces on the Daisy level of the Mickey and Friends Parking Structure. It's obviously part of the Year of a Million Dreams, but I've never seen a car parked in the space. Anyone know what it is?
Also, check out the grammatical error... "The" should not be capitalized.
BassBone, I agree with you that the sign is a part of the YOAMD promotion. I imagine that it sits unused because all of the winners so far have been staying at hotels. Day guests are the primary users of the M&F parking structure. Why should hotel guests park there when they've already made other arrangements. Plus, they either hike it to the resort, or take a bus and/or tram.
As to an exclamation for why the signs are shuffled back and forth. Likely paranoia on the part of the cast member who's job it is to handle the sign. If that were part of your duties, would you leave it sitting in the same place just stinking all the time? Could also be that management probably doesn't want guests to to draw any negative conclusions about the unused parking. You're more observant than most and have outsmarted them. ;)

Is "Daisy" the bottom level? Would this be considered a premo parking space on a busy day? Could it possibly be used for later in the day when a guest would otherwise have to park on the far-far-away level? Also would not a nice up front spot in Pinocchio be a better prize?
It's a random give away when you actually park... for example, if you're the 11th car through the middle lane of the toll plaza on this day between 11 and 11:05am, you win the special spot! That's what it would be used for. If it's not being used, perhaps it's a logistics issue that has come up.
i've seen cars in that spot twice so far, once in Jan and again in May.
My family was given the "dream" of being "Guest Car of the Day" at Disneyland last Monday. Apparently, a certain time is selected each day, and the car that comes to the parking structure booth at that time is the winner. We drove in at about 8:00 a.m. that day and my sister handed them the $11 for parking. A Cast Member ran over, said we were the guest car of the day, they handed our money back and said to follow the van with the flashing lights and they would escort us to our special parking spot. We were taken to the #1 primo spot in the Pinocchio section, just yards away from where the tram picks you up! They also gave us the "Pixie Dust Pin Pack" two Tinkerbell "Dream" pins "One to Keep" and "One to Give Away". It was pretty exciting for the kids (ages 2 & 4) and a great way to start a great day at Disneyland. Hey, you can't beat free parking and a nice, short walk back to the car at the end of the day when you're all done!
