Oh yeah... vintage DL from '55 to '67 for me. I did enjoy Dusty's post. I like the new insight into his screen name. Any collector understands the dust factor!

Yes love my Olszewski Castle, I was really impressed with the clever way the light switches were concealed. I have the WDCC complete electric Parade but with the batteries under the floats its a pain to turn them on. I want the rest of the Olszewski Main St collection , but oh well little by little.

"Collectible nuts"? I thought pins were acceptable, but nuts? They can go bad. And really, what can you do to a nut to make it collectible?

Gold plate it and make it a limited edition.

We've got a few cureo cabinets full of misc small items and other keepsakes spread out throughout the house. Our biggest collection is of 28 art items (litho's cel's etc) somewhere around 13K worth. We figure that if we are going to put something up on the walls, it might as well be what we enjoy. We get quite a few comments from parents when they drop off their kids for a party or other deal at our place. We know we have too much when a repairman comes over and comments on the place...

Every room in our house has something Disney related; even in our kitchen! In my rooms I have a guide map from every time I have been to DL, and a wall map from 1963 (before I was born). I have hoards of guide maps, key chains, pins, and more. I dont have too many expensive things, I just have a ton of small things... but that will change when we visit this July.

My house is slowly being taken over by Disney . I mainly collect the Mickey Mouse beanbags from Disneyland with Mickey dressed in the different CM outfits or just themed to every land in Disneyland. I think pretty soon, they're all going to take over my room! I also collect anything Villains which is pretty hard to come by in Disneyland .

I've been collecting Anniversary stuff for a long time, buttons, pennants, keychains, special maps, paperweights etc. Biggest item so far is a genuine Autopia car body (which will be turned into a running, working car again), smallest items are the pins. I have a lot of rare CM stuff - working day pins for Christmas - all the way back to '86. Anniversary buttons, hang-tags & ribbons going all the way back to the 8th Anniversary...

I've just started collecting vintage 1960's era postcards of Disneyland. A quick search on ebay tonight popped this up.

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...517951896&rd=1

An astounding amount of stuff, does anyone think this is a lot that the Disney Archive would buy. Goodness knows, I can't afford it!

I am a Big Disney collector. All things Fantasia, Disneyland, Haunted Mansion and WDCC are my focus. Have lots of books, pins, DVD, WDCC pieces, snowglobes, theme park trinkets, and now trying to get some of the Olszewski DL Main St pieces. Also saving money for the 50th Anniversary Merch coming this year.
