We all have our favorite traditions and things to do and see at the resort, as well as special spots where memories flow...but I'm wondering if there's anything at Disneyland that you associate with bad memories, something you simply won't do...and if so, why?
A friend of mine, for example, was asked to be married by Snow White's wishing well by the man of her dreams who soon turned into a nightmare. The engagement fell through; to this day, she won't even look over in the direction. I tried once to help her associate something different and positive with it, but there's a firm no there.
It started me thinking, what do I usually skip at the resort and why? I personally always had a terrible fear of being underwater so I used to walk right past the Subs (starting to change my mind now that Nemo's taken over). Also, I was so rudely treated at the Crystal Arts shop on Main Street about 3 years ago, I haven't set foot inside since and simply lost my taste for their product (especially after finding out the employees there are not actually Disney castmembers).
So what do you think, can one have a negative association at the Happiest Place on Earth, and if you're a Disney freak (I mean enthusiast), how do you get over it?
