    Peoplemover video question

I was watching the Peoplemover video (www.visionsfantastic.com) and I noticed that it seems to cut from coming out of America Sings and goes right to "from here you can see the spires of Small World..." did the Peoplemover mention the Autopia? If so, I guess the person filming the video cut it out?

Actually the Peoplemover video was created by Miceage's own Kevin Yee. You can reach him via the appropriate contact information on www.miceage.com or via PM here on Micechat.

Looks like some editing license was taken by Mr. Yee during that particular sequence. Not only is the audio an overlay, but the scene jumps from being down at one of the low points to another point higher up and farther down the track.

According to other pages (http://sorcerersworkshop.disneyfans....lemover.shtml), the autopia isn't given much mention specifically, just Goodyear Tires.

Not that Kevin needs defending but I can tell you what I think.

There are 2 types of video's that can be made. One to convey the ride and one to document the ride. Kevin's might be the former.

Conveying the ride means reediting the footage to keep the highlights, the flavor of the ride without the lulls that some rides have. It is a great approach. Very useful for videos that will be downloaded and you want to cut down on bandwidth. (Actaully I did this recently on an Aladdin Storytime video I created - cutting the show down from 22 to 15 minutes.)

I tend to document the ride showing it from queue to exit. I do it that way, well, just because. It is not better just a different approach.

Then again, Kevin's batteries may have died at that point and needed to out fresh ones on. just kidding.

    Re: Peoplemover video question

I recently lost this great video, and all the places that used to offer it for download have dried up... Does anyone know where I can get my hands on a copy of this complete ride-thru video? Thanks.
