Lol I can't tell if you're sarcastic or not.

Seeing as Space didn't exist until a decade after Walt died, I think that was a sarcastic post.

Was reading not to long ago in one of my scientific journals that they have been working with adding Titanium Oxides to paint and ceramics and other surface materials. Under UV light, Titanium Oxides actually pick up dirt and germs and remove them from the surface. Maybe DLR should look into an investment of this type for Space Mountain.

Our revels now are ended. These our actors, As I foretold you, were all spirits and Are melted into air, into thin air: And, like the baseless fabric of this vision, The cloud-capp'd towers, the gorgeous palaces, The solemn temples, the great globe itself, Yea, all which it inherit, shall dissolve And, like this insubstantial pageant faded, Leave not a rack behind. Maybe Space should be 'painted with glass.'

    Lol!

But seriously though, I never remember SM being dirty in the 70's (ok just opened) or 80's. But then again they used to powerwash the streets and paint daily back then too! The good old days.
Let's put the Walt back in Disney!

Don't mean to be picky, but Tokyo's Space Mountain has only just re-opened, complete with sparkling new paint job.

Oh it's cleaned much more often than that. I don't know, once a month or something, maybe every couple of weeks. Problem is, it's an exposed white roof and it's not slick- it doesn't take very long for it to look dirty again. One could hypothosize that the 'rust' color scheme of Tomorrowland '98 did a serviceable job of hiding the lack of cleaning.

I heard that Walt's ashes were put at the top of Space Mountain so you would think they would give more respect to his final resting place.

Sorry to be so cryptic about this.
