I think the 501st hunts down anyone that blames something on Star Wars, I'd watch out

The star wars technology is futuristic though, regardless of the fact that the story took place "a long time ago". Besides, isn't time supposed to work differently in other galaxies? Maybe their past is our future! Mwahahaha!
No your thinking of dimensions or parrallel universes, a galaxy is a system of stars, we are in the milky way and the closest star to ours, the sun is a few thousand lightyears away, the closest galaxies are billions away and StarWars is about a galaxy that is far far away so it has nothing to do with our future. Although don't tell anyone but Im a Jedi,

Alpha Centauri is the star closest to our sun and it's actually 4.3 light years away. This means that if you can achieve the speed of light, it would take 4.3 years of travelling at the same speed as light to actually get there. So California to the Endor Moon must be like going from earth to Pluto or something as per the ride film. The ride film is accurate in that there's blue around the screen (aka blue shift).

Dang skippy. West Side 501st will wreck some medieval force lightning in this beach.

I think this thread has gone far enough. You just can't blame anything on Star Wars.
