    Ward Kimball circling the park

At about 2am this morning #5 came out pulling the "freight" train. It was circling the park til about 6:30am. It sounded great....especially after it crossed Critter Country Trestle and got some speed going, a nice crisp chugging. There were costumed conductors on board (possibly training).

This is so exciting to hear! I can't wait to see it in July. This should be fun.
Question--- This "Freight " car is it one of the originals from the 50's?

    Good morning, son
    In twenty years from now
Maybe we'll both sit down and have a few beers
And I can tell you 'bout today
And how I picked you up and everything changed
    It was pain
    Sunny days and rain
I knew you'd feel the same things...

The "Freight" train I'm referring to is the set of cars that from one side look like cattle cars with the caboose on the end.

10-4, 10-8! Thanks for the updatd! And yes, TicToc, that set of cars (mostly) was built in 1955. Two cars were added shortly after.

Why is it there are making all the locomotives so similar in color? I used to love the idea that each steam train looked distinctive, the new CK Holliday scheme is very similar to the Kimball. They look like the Eureka from DLP.
