unfortunately we are running fastpasses...I hate it! it's not utilized properly and it's abused constantly by guests.
Went to a party the other night
All the ladies were treating me right
Moving my feet to the disco beat
How in the world could I keep my seat
All of a sudden I began to change
I was on the dance floor acting strange
Flapping my arms I began to cluck
Look at me..I'm the disco duck

Sometimes the people who watch over FP utilization will set it to give out way too many...they set them up to give out a certain amount depending on the estimated park attendance and how many ride vehicles are available or are in use.

Sometimes they think if we run more vehicles that it is a good reason to "up" the amount of fastpasses to give out...it doesnt work well that way!

Re: is indiana jones using the fast pass machine again?

I know it's just me but if there was not FPs for Indy, I would most likely not ride it. I'm not going to wait an hour for that ride (I know other people love it, but it doesn't do much for me). I remember one year, we did wait a long time and were quite annoyed that FP people were just waltzing through.

Then we wised up and got FPs on subsequent visits. Even with FP, we had to wait 13 minutes this last time.

Wow, 13 minutes is too long?

unless you decide to stop people from getting in line, the same amount of people will ride and the wait time will stay the same, the only difference will be a longer line that moves quicker.

Which falls between the 10-15 minute rule for wait times with FastPass... your point is now?

Re: is indiana jones using the fast pass machine again?

I'm not saying 13 minutes is too long to wait for a ride (especially for a ride that standby is usually 45+ mins). It was just a comment on the length of time we waited in the FP line.

My point was that Indy is a popular ride (naturally) and that quite a few people get FPs for the ride - hence there is still a wait in the FP line. A redundant point (now that I look at it) but that's all I meant.
