I thought I read somewhere (here of course) that you can also ride on the Lilly Belle if you were a guest at Club 33. Is this true? And if so, how do you go about this?
Thanks!

Wish I'd known because I went to Club 33 in November!!
I'm not sure those are interelated. I have heard that
with the DL tours, the Lilly Belle is sometimes included,
if it is available. Sometimes, on the DL tours a visit to
the 1st floor entry of Club 33 is often times included, but
not guaranteed.
If you see a cute yellow lab puppy with a yellow cape, WAVE! It might be us! (Or it may be someone else that lurks here!) Thank you for asking before you pet! Next trip, Dec 22-Jan 3rd.
I just asked for the Lilly Belle, mentioning that I am a Disneyland freak. I think they agreed because of YoaMD.

If you are a member of Club 33, you can request a ride in the Lilly Belle. If you a guest of a member, you may request a ride if you are accompanied by the Club 33 member.

That's my understanding, as well. But I think the City Hall CM's sometimes have a bit of leeway as to what they can and cannot make happen depending on the day, the situation, and how nice the guests are. So if it's the right day, the right time, no one's been pestering them about riding Lilly Belle all day, etc., maybe it'll happen for an unaccompanied guest.
But don't count on it.
When you check in at the Guest Relations window (whether you are the Club member or the Guest of a member) you can ask them if they have any of the Lilly Belle Souvenir Tickets, and if they don't they'll send you to City Hall where you can usually pick them up (the CMs there have a limited number per day).
From there you can ask the City Hall CM to make the Lilly Belle arrangements for you, or you can speak with the Railroad CMs and explain the situation and present the tickets. They're very accommodating.![]()
All you have to do is ask the CM at the Main Street Station if it would be possible to ride the Lily Belle - whether you're at Club 33 or not. That's what we did. They just have to make sure they have an extra CM available to "guard" you. For some reason they need someone to stand outside the door when you ride it.
It was just that easy.
Will trade husband for Disneyland and DCA Pins!
If you take the Walk In Walt's tour, after the train is back up, AND it's available, they sometimes ride the Lilly Belle. It depends on if the Lilly Belle is available and if the conductor offers it to the guide at that time.

On May 5 we were at DL celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary. Right after we obtained our anniversary buttons from City Hall we headed over to the Train Station to see if we could be lucky enough to get on the Lilly Belle. We asked and after about an hour wait we were able to get on and ride her. We are not Club 33 members. It was so much fun.....just me, my husband, 17 year old son, and a cast member! We had it all to ourselves!!!![]()

BFJen is right. Just ask. 9 times out of 10, you'll get a ride.
