Question Where is the best place in Disneyland to rest on July 17th?

My wife and I were having a conversation about the anniversary weekend, and the subject of rest (or lack thereof) came up. We started thinking of all the places we might catch a catnap on the big anniversary. We came up with the Tiki Room, possibly Innoventions, the bottom floor of the Hungry Bear(in the back) and the 50th Magical Memories Theater (formerly Mr. Lincoln)
So put on your thinking caps Micechatters. Tell me, where would you try to get some rest at the Park on July 17th?

The Opera house is a 17 minute show with air conditioning. You can relax and be entertained in comfort.

This has been a Filmways presentation dahling.

You could try sleeping in "it's a small world...", but you might have nightmares for a long time afterwards. There are some shady benches across the way from that area.

Some people will also tell you that the Snow White show is a snoozefest. If you really want to rest in peace and quiet, there's always DCA--but there isn't much shade there to rest in.

The nurse's station at DL does have some beds, for those who feel ill and need a short rest.

I think they're trying to avoid leaving the park - same as I will be that day. I plan on arriving CVERY early and queueing up for entrance, and know I'll need a quick snooze sometime before my 9 pm Fantasmic seating!

If I have to catch a snooze I will probably get another family member and it on a bench somewhere. Then I will catch a quick nap while that family member watches the stuff and me. Then we will probably switch or move on our way since I am not sure that one of my family members will want to be at the park very early like I am planning. Another thing I am thinking of is just to keep moving. I figure if as long as I am moving I will stay awake.

Yeah, for those of us who plan on getting in line before sunrise, we will need to rest somewhere.

I'd say the train. Opera house has those little nubs on the seatbacks which doesn't make for good snoozing unless you've brought a neck pillow (and who wants to be saddled with THAT on a hot July day?), HISTA is too loud, the Main Street Cinema has no cushioned seating, and those fantastic flat cushioned benches in the circlevision lobby have gone the way of the dodo.

Or, if you're just up for sitting around, the deck of Plaza Pavilion is nice. Pianist and everything. Good people watching too. And of course, you're right next to Coke Corner if you get hungry/thirsty.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe...

The train is a good idea, since it usually isn't jam-crowded.

I slept for 2 hours on the train during the 18-hour run the day before the POTC movie gala. I did, however, dream that I was in the Grand Canyon and there was a T-Rex that tried to eat me.

My, how I think you'll suffer.

The last couple years during my visits it has taken FOREVER to get on the train. I guess once you're on, you can stay on: but be prepared for a LOOOOOOONG wait to board the train. (Same often goes for the Monorail).

EVERYWHERE will be crowded on the 17th. Maybe you can fall asleep in a bathroom stall?
