    To the man who asked me about P.T. Flea:

    OK...so a man asked me what P.T. Flea stood for in DCA today and I called around a few places and no one could find it (It wasn't even in Disney A-Z!)

    Hopefully you're a micechatter & you'll see that I FOUND IT!

    P.T. = Phineas Talbot.

    How's THAT for crazy trivia?! Hope he (you) see this, sir!

    I can do ya one better on obscure Disney trivia, though for more recent characters.
    The last name of Art and Gaston (as well as Franny's maiden name) in Meet the Robinsons is Framagucci (used in early drafts of the script and onward).

    Hmm, can you cite a source for that ?

    The character seems clearly based upon the showman Phineas Taylor Barnum:

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phineas_Taylor_Barnum

    but the one site I could find that correlated with your claim to Talbot:

    http://theneitherworld.com/bugs/chars/pt.htm

    suggests that the site's originator made up the Talbot name for the T. (See the *'ed note)

    On to other earthshaking concerns ...

    I always assumed that the character of P.T. Flea was a nod to P.T. Barnum (that other famous Circus showman...) - and thus the P.T. stood for "Phineas Taylor (Barnum)".

    How / where on earth did you get your info?!

    Points to Jeffyarddog - it seems he has researched more thoroughly than I. After looking more closely at that site, I think you're right that that may have been artistic license. I too just assumed it was a reference to P.T. Barnum - and told the guest that earlier before I found the other site, so maybe it was a good thing.

    Thanks guys!!!
