are you saying my donation of $10 Million gets the same credit as people that just supported the idea?!
"Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in the world they've been given than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact. It's an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration. It's a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary... Impossible is nothing."
I think that there really are two people to congratulate. First Tony Baxter for pressing for the subs return. And second, Matt Ouimet who pushed to fund the renovation.
John Lasseter deserves an honorable mention, not really for the subs return but for plusing the ride to make it a true "E" ticket again.

Love Disneyland and Walt Disney World!
I've been focusing for ten years! Where has everyone else gone?? Screw the subs! (only kidding about screwing the subs)
Well... John directed Toy Story, which lead to a few hits such as Finding Nemo. John, being a stickler for 'quality', a word that many execs don't know the meaning of or don't care to, made sure that the Nemo Subs were better than they could have been. Meaning he fought for more money, more time, more effects.... all to make the attraction look as good as it does today. But I'm speaking out of my bum right now because I haven't seen it in person yet.
....and I guess if you can thank John Lasseter, you can thank George Lucas for starting ILM... and he wouldn't have started ILM if it weren't for a movie called STAR WARS!
WOOO HOO!!!! STAR WARS RULES!
....or you can thank Eisner for scoring the deal with pixar to begin with... and then thanking him again for leaving so that Pixar and Disney could start talking again.
Whew, so many people to thank!
