We have a bathroom inspired from Disneys Boardwalk, and I tried to talk my wife into a Polynesian themed bath, but she balked at that idea.

The only real Disney "theming" in my house is the admission price: $63 to come in, food not included.

We just finished our Mickey Mouse Bathroom, and it is detailed. VERY detailed. I don't know if we took pics or not, I will look and get them tomorrow posted if I don't.

Awesome! I'd love to see it

All your stuff sounds awesome so far, guys! This thread is definitely in need of pictures!

Since I'm stuck in a studio apartment (ah, youth) there's not much opportunity for me to do any heavy-duty theming in my own life... but when it comes to the big imaginary mansion in my brain, I've always dreamt of having a two-level library featuring a sort of Art Nouveau/Steampunk design. Think Discoveryland in Disneyland Paris; heavily influenced by the works of Jules Verne, with a specific focus on 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea and Harper Goff's work on the Disney film. I'd love to have a "window" seat based on the big windows on the sides of Nautilus, that actually looked out into a large salt-water aquarium.

Step one to realizing these plans, of course, is to win the lottery. Several times over.

Ha! Do you still employ the alphabet-ticket method? Is there an E-ticket room?

(...I'm just setting myself up for a slightly bawdy bedroom reference with that question, aren't I?)

Slightly? That doesn't cut it for an "E-Ticket"...

Once I get my own place, I'd like to have a Mulan theme, or a Chinese theme in general for one of the rooms...living room most likely. My s. o. and I decided that our master bedroom will have a cats theme.

Cool Re: Disneyland-Inspired Theming in Your Home?

This is a promise. When my husband and I finish our movie room we will post a picture. The theme of course is Space Mountian, stars and music included. We are not paining the walls black, just a very dark blue. The windows are tinted without curtins. We are trying right now to figure out how to turn on the music when we walk in the room. It comes on but continues playing and I want to watch a movie. It might be just a simple affect. Any ideas will be great.
I know you, I walked with you once apon a dream. See ya at the park! BFA. (Black Family Alert).
