    Smile The Wave?

Just out of curiosity... has anyone tried to start "The Wave" in line? I suppose it would have to start from somewhere near the front and travel backwards. Seems like it would be fun... and fit thematically.

    Re: The Wave?

Waves are usually started by very enegetic individuals with lots of extra energy...........how many people, who are finally at the front of the Nemo line, would fit this description?

I've seen this done, but this is really hard in a queue since:
    * hard to see a single line wave... can't be a switch back.
    * you need to tell people what's going on ..unlike a stadium you can't "see" the wave
    * which means that you can't be in line while getting this going.

I vaguely remember CMs doing this when the wave was really popular (like 20 years ago).

My friend likes to start the wave during Fantasmic! at WDW, but I've never seen that kind of wave done before.

Ya, when I saw Fantasmic! in WDW someone on the sides got it started.

I tried it on the queue for Pooh.

You need more than two people to have a good wave.

    Re: The Wave?

I would have to be in the line for a very long time before I would be delirious enough to join in the wave. Since I won't be down there until August and we'll make a rope drop dash I am hoping to avoid that kind of line.
Check out my new Disney Blog here. What it lacks in quality it makes up with... Well, nothing I guess.
