    Labor Day

How is Labor Day? Crowds? Heat? What about the day after (Tuesday)? I know HM goes down for HMH overlay and the hours are shorter but then there should be less attendance. Would there be any fireworks on the Monday? Thanks, Werner

Supposedly DL will be open till 11:00 pm on Labor Day. So with the park closing at that time I would think that there could be a good chance for fireworks that night.

As for temps.....when I've been there around this time it can still be pretty toasty

    Re: Labor Day

    Did someone say "toasty"?

Anyways, Labor Day used to be one of those days where the Park was completely dead and yet stayed open late. That was years ago. It's been hit or miss lately, same with Memorial Day.

As for heat... uhh... my weather forecasting crystal ball is down for refurbishment right now. It was tied into www.weather.com anyways.

Tee hee... it always makes me giggle inside when people ask things that would basically require folks to predict the future.

Must... keep... Mara's gift to me... a secret.

Oh.. hrmnph... where was I? Did you check www.disneyland.com for the latest information on Park hours, entertainment schedules, and refurbishment schedules? That might be quicker.

... as for crowds, generally the common sense rule is that if kids are normally out of school that day (especially the local ones), then it'll probably be a little crowded. If a majority of kids are in school, then it should not be so crowded.

    Hope that helps.

LOL, I checked it out. They don't have anything listed yet except for park times.

They might not be set in stone yet... well, even if they did post them they still aren't "set in stone" since information is subject to change without notice yadda yadda. I'd check again in a few weeks and they should be posted then.

    You're mean.

Everyone knows Disneyland doesn't give a rats crap about their own website.

1 min. of micechat info is more sufficient then a days worth at disneyland.com

The weekend itself is a zoo. However, Monday will probably be much lighter and will really clear out late afternoon. The Tuesday after will be heavy for a Tuesday as many people stretch their vacations.
And everyone is correct that we have some of our hottest weather in September and August.

You can not forget that this year the 1/2 marathon is on Labor Day, so who knows if that will bring in more people then normal for that exact day.
