    Question Is Disneyland going to limit access on July 17th?

    I saw this the other day on LP...

    “second hand rumor”= the person who told me heard it from a manager

    He stated that they are going to cap attendance that day at 45,000 guests so that there will be a “Comfortable “ level in the park. If you leave you will not be allowed back in unless they have opened the turnstiles again, no guarantee of admission for resort guess.

    Looks like Disney’s California Adventure may have an upswing in attendance that day.

    As always with Disney;
    “All information is subject to change”
    I thought about this post and began thinking about the fact that DisneyDining is calling everybody who has Priority Seating on July 17th. They are telling the guests that they need to get in the Park "early" on the 17th, as their PS reservation won't guarantee entrance into the Park. I don't recall anybody mentioning this consideration being given for May 5th or any other day when they thought they might hit maximum capacity.
    I wonder if Disney KNOWS they are going to limit access to the Park on the 17th, so they are giving dining guests a heads-up to get there early.
    What do YOU think?

    I think 45k is a rather low number. Comfortable yes, realistic NO! If they do that there might be riots in the streets, with people pissed about not being able to get in, people climbimg walls to get in, who knows what might happen. They need a higher number then that!!!!

    Well *hopefully* I will see you on the other side there Mr. Charlie?

    I wonder if they will? Maybe it's just a rumor. Who knows who this actual manager is and if he/she knows for sure. It could have been an opinion or a shot down idea? How many do they let in for New Years? That would be my guess for crowd numbers.

    LOL good question. How WOULD we know. I could just sense it, cause around 9 am the gates would be shut right? And that would suck.

    Yeah, but since when did Disney start getting courteous about telling people that the Park may fill up?

    Actually, it's my undersanding that they can let 250 people per minute thru the turnstiles. Based on that number, it would take 3 hours to let in 45,000 people. Assuming that they start letting people onto Main Street at 7:30 am(1/2 hour before the rope-drop), they would let people in until 10:30 am, then ... SORRY, we're all full up, try the California Adventure across the esplanade! Thanks for stopping by... okay, buh-bye

    Umm... they ordered 75,000 cupcakes.

    Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe...

    As long as I get my cupcake, I'm going to be okay. And ears. ^^;
    Well, light travels from the sun. Then, bounces off of our planet, and back into our eyes so we can perceive color. My body can intercept that light and dance around on it!

    The managers have been having cupcake logistics meetings, and there have been bulletins around with information about it.
